About this Event

Visitors will be welcome to visit our pavilion and ground which held the first ever FIFA-recognised international football match between Scotland and England, view memorabilia and learn more about our sporting heritage.

Our Hamilton Crescent cricket ground was the venue for the first ever FIFA-recognised international football match between Scotland and England on 30 November, 1872, and over the years has also hosted internationals in cricket, hockey and rugby.

Our Cricket Club fields men’s, women’s and junior teams.

Light refreshments will be available.
