About this Event
The Glasgow Police Museum tells the history of The city of Glasgow Police, the UKs first police force (1779-1975 through historical displays of uniforms, crime stories).
The International exhibition features uniforms and insignia from every country in the World.
Visitors are provided with a historical introduction to the museum.
As they progress around the museum staff will be present to answer questions and provide historical clarification of the exhibits.

The Police Museum
The Glasgow Police Museum is an established police museum open on a free admission basis to the public.
The museum displays the history of the UK’s first police force (1800-1975) in artefacts, uniforms and stories of the establishment, innovation and progress during the 175 years of it development before it became part of Strathclyde Police in 1975.
