Join Nicky Imrie this Doors Open Days Festival for a peek behind the scenes in The Hunterian’s Kelvin Hall stores. Explore the House for an Art Lover folios by Charles Rennie Mackintosh, M. H. Baillie Scott and Leopold Bauer.
Hear the story behind the 1901 House for an Art Lover competition, Mackintosh and Margaret Macdonald’s creative partnership, and how the designs relate to Mackintosh’s wider work.
And with a nod to this year's theme, Glasgow Goes Out, reflect on how houses for art lovers offered spaces for entertaining, creative connections and social exchange.
