Welcome to St. Ninian’s
Step inside and explore the stunning interior of St. Ninian’s, home to breathtaking stained glass windows – including works by the renowned Heaton, Butler & Bayne – and magnificent murals by William Brassey Hole, painted in 1901.
Walk around the church at your own pace and look at the stained glass windows, murals - printed guides will be available and our welcomers will be able to give you more information

About this Venue
St. Ninian's Episcopal Church
St Ninian’s Church was the first Episcopal Church to be built on the southside of the River Clyde.
The land on which it is built was given by Sir John Maxwell and the foundation stone was laid in 1872 and the building was completed in 1887.
The architect was David Thomson and it is built in the Neo-gothic style. There are a number of beautiful stained glass windows and murals by William Brassey Hole adorn the chancel.
We will celebrate the architect who designed the building, the designers of the stained glass windows and the artists who painted the murals and other paintings in the church.
We hope people visiting will experience the beauty of the building and feel a sense of calmness and peace which can be difficult to find in today’s world.
