About this Event
History of Glasgow's Entertainment Scene Talk
Drawing on our research into two of Glasgow’s most well-loved performance venues - the Britannia Panopticon Music Hall and the King’s Theatre - we will deliver a talk which explains the development of the city’s entertainment scene as it evolved from the early days of the Glasgow Fair, sing-alongs and trained fleas in the back room of pubs, to the varied cultural offer we see today.
