The oldest building in Glagow with a wonderful collection of satined glass windows and magnificent architecture.

Internal tour from the Guides desk in the Nave, lasting around 50 minutes.

This memorable tour offers a powerful journey through time - one that brings the city’s origins and enduring spirit vividly to life.

Several flights of stairs to access the lower church area.

History of St Mungo, the cathedral and the stained glass windows.

Children are welcome.

It is the only mainland Scottish cathedral to have largely survived the Reformation intact.

Built on the site where St. Kentigern (also known as St. Mungo) is believed to have established a church, the cathedral marks the very birthplace of Glasgow.

Wheelchair access to the Nave and Choir areas but not to the Lower Church. No toilet facilities within the Cathedral but available in the adjacent St Mungo's Museum. No refreshments within the Cathedral or St Mungo Museum.
