About this Event
Open Afternoon with Community BBQ
In 2025, GAU provided fresh food - grown by our hardworking allotment volunteers - to over 100 families across Glasgow.
Please join us, on Saturday 19th September, to celebrate another successful growing year in our community allotment.
We look forward to welcoming you to our wonderful plot - where we grow a huge range of fruit, vegetables and herbs in our raised beds and greenhouses, including our Afghani speciality - gandana!
We'll be firing up the BBQ grills, cooking up huge pots of Kabuli Rice, baking Bolani breads to share with everyone who visits.
Copies of our Afghan Cookery Book will also be available.
All welcome!
