Guided Tours of the Couper Insitute
See behind the scenes of the historic Couper Institute, in partnership with Glasgow Life.
The Couper Institute is a ‘B’ listed building situated on the Southside of Glasgow. It was designed by internationally renowned architect James Sellers and built for the community by local mill owner Robert Couper in 1887.
Classic Scottish Film Screening
In the evening of Saturday 19th September, we'll be screening a classic Scottish film in the atmospheric Grand Hall, with the generous support of CALA Homes and Glasgow City Council's Area Partnership.

Couper Institute
Couper Institute is a ‘B’ listed building situated on the Southside of Glasgow. It was designed by internationally renowned architect James Sellers and built under the auspices of Robert Couper in 1887.
The Couper Institute has been well-used by the local community, celebrating countless birthdays, weddings and anniversaries, as well as dance shows and much more.
Today, Cathcart, Merrylee and Muirend Community Council is working with Glasgow Life to ensure the building continues to flourish as part of our community for many more years.
