About this Event

Join us to learn about the decisive battle between the forces loyal to Mary Queen of Scots and her son James VI's army.
Read the full event details

Departing at 2.00 p.m. from outside The Church on the Hill, Battlefield, facing the Battlefield Monument, a guided walk exploring the events leading up to the battle and what happened on 13th May 1568.

The walk will cover the locations of the fighting and imagine the scene on the day, together with consideration of what led to Mary’s defeat and what she did next.
