The Barrowland Ballroom

On the 18th of September lucky participants will be given guided tours by passionate and self-proclaimed "Barrowland Geeks" and "Music Heads" that will see them explore hidden rooms and stairwells rarely seen by the public that are filled with posters of incredible artist gigs from days gone by, including the dressing rooms and hospitality areas used by the world-famous musicians that have taken to the stage here. As they wander around its warren of corridors and rooms they will also take in the famous Wall of Fame and hear fascinating tales from the guides on why the Barrowland Ballroom has become one of the worlds most famous live music venues. The tours will then finish in The Ballroom itself, famed for its incredible acoustics and sprung dance floor which will be fully set up with sound and light for its visitors to have a once in a lifetime photo opportunity to be rock stars for the day. Tours for this incredible experience are by appointment only via Glasgow Doors Open with limited availability.
