Mackintosh at the Willow, 215-217 Sauchiehall Street, G2 3EX
Immerse yourself in the world of tea! Learn about the stages of making tea, its origins, and history. Experience the smoky delights of Russian Caravan and the colourful fruit infusions of Cloud Catcher. Amongst others we stock twenty-three different teas.
Our tea is served in our Willow Pattern Burleigh China hand-crafted exclusively for Mackintosh at the Willow. This traditional range is based on the original Willow Pattern china used in the Tearoom in 1903. To make this Tea Tasting perfect the demo will be in our breath-taking Billiard Room. It has dark oak panelling and furniture with lighter touches added in the form of the purple detailing stencilled upon the walls. The Billiard Room is also a perfect setting for any lover of Charles Rennie Mackintosh and art Nouveau. Originally just for gentlemen, we now welcome everyone! |
