HUB: WORKSHOP - Queering the Map of Glasgow

HUB - The Garment Factory, 10 Montrose Street, G1 1RE

Get creative at a community mapping workshop for LGBTQI+ people. Explore and share the places that matter to you, past and present. Discover and create a new queer map of Glasgow with others.

The day will start with readings of oral histories collected by Our Story Scotland. Hear LGBTQI+ voices from Glasgow's recent past and consider contributing your own story to the archive.

Next we will work together to draw, pin and record our memories on large printed maps of Glasgow, having the chance to chat and share experiences with others, followed by time to mix, mingle and socialise over a cup of tea and biscuits.
