The effects of the Covid-19 pandemic are being felt across the city. In uncertain times the people of Glasgow come together and so we thought we'd reach out with a little distraction.
Looking for something to keep you busy? Are you looking out your window more often lately? Or taking a fresh look at the city during your daily government sanctioned excursion? We are calling all Glasgow wanderers to join our Lockdown Photography Competition and Gallery. We’d love to see what you have been seeing during these surreal times.
How to enter?
Send us an image you've taken of your favourite Glasgow Doors Open Days Festival buildings, places, parks or sites you have encountered on your daily wander.
Upload your picture to Instagram, tag @glasgowdoorsopendaysfestival and use the hashtag #GDODFLockdown, remember to give it a caption and include its location.
Alternatively you can email us your submission with the competition hashtag in the subject line to email@example.com.
Our favourite images will be included in an online exhibition on our website and a £100 voucher for a Glasgow photo or camera retailer will be up for grabs for one lucky winner.
Terms and Conditions
All entries must be original works by the participant.
Submissions must be taken within the Glasgow City boundary.
By entering the contest, participants agree that photos submitted can be used by Glasgow Doors Open Days Festival to promote the Lockdown Photography competition with appropriate accreditation.
Prize will be redeemable at a confirmed Glasgow camera or photoshop.

Winner will be announced @ 1200 GMT on 01.06.20.
