WORKSHOP - Food Stories
Soul Food Sisters, 202 Gallowgate, G1 5DS
How many of the dishes we cook have been handed down to us by our mothers or another important person in our lives? How much of our family life happens in the kitchen or at the dinner table? How much of our food tells a story of our life, our country or the relationship with the people in our lives?
We would like to invite you to honour these stories about giving and receiving food and about the connections that we make with each other over food. Drop in for open bite size workshops throughout the day showcasing a range of cuisines from our wonderful chefs. We hope through teaching you their home dishes, our chefs will share some of the meaning their food has to them alongside their recipes. |
