EVENT - Film Screening Tea Dance Pollokshaws Burgh Hall

Pollokshaws Burgh Hall, 2025 Pollokshaws Road, G43 1NE
Start off your Saturday evening 1930s style as we present silent cinema accompanied LIVE by the mighty Wurlitzer organ.

After closure in the late 1990's, the management and running of the hall was taken over in 2000 by the Pollokshaws Burgh Hall Trust, a local group of volunteers. With help from Glasgow City Council, the building has steadily been brought into use on behalf of the people of Pollokshaws for whom it was originally built.
Throughout these radical changes Pollokshaws Burgh Hall has become an important architectural, heritage & cultural symbol to the community. The Trust is responding to local aspirations to restore and develop the Halls as the Hub of
the new village community.
