TALK - Cloud Water Zen
Cloud Water Zen Centre, 5th floor, 82 Mitchell St, G1 3NA
The aim of Zen meditation and practice is to become more present and aware and, in doing so, enable us to enjoy a richer experience of life. This talk is given by Sensei Karl Kaliski, a fully qualified Zen teacher. It outlines key principles of Buddhism and Zen and provides information about how Zen Buddhist practice can be of value in our daily lives. There will also be an opportunity for a short question and answer session towards the end of the talk.
The Cloud Water Zen Centre opened in the autumn of 2017. It offers people living in Glasgow and the West of Scotland the opportunity to explore and practise Zen Buddhism. Zen offers the possibility of finding some silence, space and calm amidst the distractions, busyness and stress of daily life under the guidance of a fully-qualified and experienced Zen teacher.
