Come and find out at the historic Fairfield offices, built in the Victorian age and referred to as the "world headquarters for shipbuilding". Get hands-on with the real vintage tools and instruments used in Glasgow shipyards to design and engineer some of the Clyde's greatest historic ships. Investigate Scotland's astonishing industrial heritage through virtual reality and learn how to make your own digital 3D models using only your smartphone camera. Enjoy behind the scenes guided tours showcasing hidden parts of the building and hear about Fairfield's engineering innovations that revolutionised shipbuilding around the world. Find out about a day in the life of a Govan shipbuilder throughout the Clyde's industrial heyday. Take on family friendly arts and crafts engineering challenges to see if you've got what it takes to build a ship. Feel free to bring along your own shipbuilding memorabilia to share and discuss.
